We define a kitchen garden as a small-scale, food-focused garden designed to supplement your recipes with fresh, nutrient-dense produce. While we love a good homestead garden, our gardens are designed to invite the gardener into a low-maintenace, highly-productive space that elevates the residence’s existing landscaping.

We love, love, LOVE designing gardens with your little gardeners in mind! Whimsical hues, viney tendrils, and fragrant herbs beckon their little hearts to explore the wildness of nature. We adore designing gardens that invest in the whole family, creating little spots of interest that invite each member into the goodness of the garden.

We’ve fallen in love with raised bed and container gardening, and we think you will too! With few exceptions, our designs exclusively feature raised beds and containers because we’ve seen their overwhelming benefits for our clients (and our own gardens!). When properly installed, raised garden beds offer ideal growing conditions from nutritional makeup to water retention properties, and they lend visual interest to your landscaping in every season.

This said, we offer our garden maintenance packages to in-ground and raised bed gardens alike!

Great question! We reserve this service exclusively for our consultation clients to ensure that both the client and installation team are in agreement about the client’s end goal for the finalized garden. Not only do we want to install an exceptional product, it’s important to us that the final garden design supports our client’s gardening goals and their vision for their space.

Our specialty is creating edible gardens (i.e. kitchen gardens) that prioritize growing nutrient-dense food for your table. Although we don’t offer landscaping plans, we love adding whimsey and splashes of color into your kitchen garden by incorporating feature florals and gorgeous trellises in your design. Hint: your local pollinators love the added florals as much as we do, boosting your garden’s productivity!
